UMass set to host Bonnies

Massachusetts will look to continue its undefeated home-court record against Atlantic 10 opponents Wednesday night as the Minutemen host the Bonnies at 7.
UMass (19-7, 9-3 A-10) is coming off a 77-69 win at Dayton, a game that ended the Flyers' perfect 14-0 home record.
The Minutemen have four players averaging in double-figure scoring. Forward Rashaun Freeman leads the team with 16.1 points per game and adds 8.4 rebounds per game. Forward Stephane Lasme averages 13.5 points and a team-leading 9.7 rebounds per game. Guards Gary Forbes and James Life contribute 13.8 and 11.8 points per game, respectively.
The Bonnies (6-19, 3-9 A-10) currently ride a five-game losing streak, which dates to Jan. 31. Most recently, St. Bonaventure fell to Saint Joseph's Saturday, 76-68, at the Reilly Center.
For the Bonnies, center Paul Williams averages 11.9 points and a team-high 7.7 rebounds per game. He recorded his eighth double-double of the season against St. Joe's Saturday. Forward Michael Lee averages 13.3 points to lead the team and forward A.J. Hawkins adds 11.3 points per game.
UMass leads the all-time series between the teams, 35-17, and has won the last four meetings and seven of the last nine. The last time the teams played, the Minutemen topped the Bonnies, 72-64, in the Reilly Center on Feb. 19, 2006. Freeman led all scorers with 25 points and had 19 rebounds. Lasme added 11 points and 15 rebounds.
