Men's soccer struggles over past weekend

The men's soccer team dropped two 1-0 decisions this weekend to Fordham and La Salle.
The losses dropped the Bonnies' record to 5-6-1 and 2-3 in Atlantic 10 play. It also dropped the team in the standings, where it moved from a tie for fifth place to a tie for ninth place.
The top six teams advance to the A-10 tournament, and the Bonnies are only four points behind the two fourth-place teams.
Friday's match with Fordham was scoreless until the 60th minute when Rams forward Dean Stanic connected on a one-timer from 15 yards out to beat freshman goalkeeper David Flynn. Flynn made three saves in the losing effort.
Sunday, the Bonnies traveled to Philadelphia where they fell 1-0 to La Salle. The Explorers' Jeremy Ortiz scored the only goal of the game in the 29th minute.
The Bonnies will travel to Fordham tonight for a 7:30 p.m. match with the Rams. Sunday, the team is scheduled to play at La Salle at 2:30 p.m.
