Applaud SGA's 'Drunk Bus' decision

On Halloween night, the Late Night Bona Bus suffered its third act of vandalism this semester. SGA did the right thing by suspending bus service until the person responsible confessed.
Students should commend SGA president Sabrina Maddeaux for her handling of the vandalism.
It's ridiculous that this problem comes up so often because the bus is borrowed property. We should respect the benefits it provides, especially because it costs students nothing. Maddeaux's decision to take away the bus should be a wake-up call to students and remind them to appreciate the service it provides. This was a responsible decision because it showed the student body that this vandalism is disrespectful and will not be tolerated.
While it would have been better for everyone if the incident had never happened, the person responsible for the damage stepped up and took responsibility. Since the damage can't be undone, students should respect this student for accepting the consequences of his actions so we can enjoy the bus again. Because he admitted his involvement, the Late Night bus will be running this weekend.
So Friday night, when you're waiting among the mob to get on the bus, remember it is a privilege, and be patient.
